| Las Chicas del Café is proud and excited to participate in the fundraising efforts of the charitable organization, Los Frutos del Café. Los Frutos del Café latest project aims at linking the entire coffee community from origin to consumers. |
The coffee used in this project is Don Rey’s private Reserve.
Everytime a pound of Don Rey’s Private Reserve is sold in any roast profile or flavoured coffee, Las Chicas del Café will contribute towards the sustainable and educational development of children in coffee producing communities.

| Tropical forests house the greatest amount of the world’s biodiversity. Forest clearance destroys habitat for tropical species and for the many migratory birds that breed in North America and winter in the tropics. Forests are critical for the health of rivers and steams, retaining water in a cycle that once broken is not easily restored. Forests also play a significant role in carbon fixation; removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere; thus reducing the effects of global warming. |
| As citizens of the world we share in the responsibility to protect the world’s biodiversity and to reduce global warming. Los Frutos del Café’s project would enhance restoration of original habitat and promote sustainable land use.
